My son is 2.5 years old and has been seeing Ms Tammy for the last few months, and we’ve been encouraged by the steady progress he has made. His therapy sessions are play-based in a big and welcoming space. He genuinely looks forward to “playing with Ms Tammy” every weekend. One thing we really appreciate is how transparent and collaborative Tammy is. She shared the objectives for each session and takes the time to explain what she worked on, and why, at the end of the session. She also occasionally sends us videos of her interactions with our son, which really helps us understand the techniques she’s using. She’s been generous in sharing helpful resources and learning materials for us to continue supporting his development outside of therapy sessions. We are very grateful for her support and would recommend her to any parent looking for a knowledgeable and dedicated speech therapist. Thank you!

Working with Xian Hui since the end of 2023 upon my son’s ASD diagnosis. At the age of 5, he was unable to recognise all 26 alphabets, speak unclearly with a lot of babble and subconsciously replace all “f” sound to “p” sound. Upon starting the journey with Xian Hui, his transformation has been remarkable, he now consciously spell the words using correct sound, his social communication also improved. Most importantly he is looking forward to attending the weekly session. I highly recommend Xian Hui to parents who are looking for speech or education therapy.

I am happy to share the experience of my child’s speech therapist, Teacher Tammy. Through the speech therapy sessions, she has built a strong rapport with my child. She took the time to understand my child’s unique needs and worked diligently to address the specific sounds that my child struggled with. The progress my child has made under Teacher Tammy’s guidance has been tremendous. My child improved significantly, and I am amazed at the progress that my child has made to pronounce sounds that were previously challenging for him. She also tries innovative ways to engage my child, which makes the therapy sessions enjoyable and effective. My child has grown to love attending therapy sessions with Teacher Tammy, and looks forward to each session with excitement. One aspect that impressed me was the invaluable tips that she has provided for us to work on at home. She shared creative and effective techniques that we could incorporate into our daily routine to further enhance my child’s speech development.

L has been with Ms. Tammy for almost a year. When L just started speech therapy with Ms. Tammy, she was excited to go to Ms. Tammy’s class. I could see the significant changes of speech within her—clarity, confidence to speak, and articulation. And especially the sounds she couldn’t pronounce at first, e.g., “sh,” “ch,” “t,” “d,” “l,” “cl,” and more, and now she’s able to say them out loud. Ms. Tammy also influenced her in a way; when L pronounces words wrongly, she will correct it herself. This has clearly helped her with socializing with adults and her friends around her. We don’t have to guess what she is trying to say, and it improves her self-esteem every time she wants to express her thoughts to us. Ms. Tammy also extended her help by helping L with her Chinese too. Thank you, Ms. Tammy, for helping L grow, and she will continue to be better under your help.

We have been bringing our son, Kieran, to see Miss Xian Hui for about three months now, and the transformation has been wonderful to see. The biggest change is Kieran’s motivation to communicate; he is much more eager to use his voice to make requests. We were thrilled to hear from his school teachers that he started requesting in full sentences without needing any visual prompts — a huge milestone for him! What we appreciate most is how functional the lessons are. Kieran is consistently applying what he learns in class to our home environment, making daily life much smoother. The therapist provides such clear guidance that it’s very easy for us as parents to reiterate the techniques and support his learning throughout the week. Most importantly, Kieran is genuinely happy to attend class every Saturday. Seeing him excited to go into his session makes all the difference. We highly recommend Miss Xian Hui to any parent looking for an effective, engaging, and supportive speech therapist.

My gal benefited alot from the therapist sessions throughout the year. She started off very shy and don’t really open up to people she is unfamiliar with. Now she enjoys and look forward to every lessons weekly. Her mood always brighten up at the end of the lessons. Most importantly we can see her improvement. We can see the changes in her. In her personality, confidence level to her ability to express herself at a deeper level. I am very grateful to her therapist Ms XianHui who been very supportive and patience with her throughout.
