Our therapists support children’s speech, language, and learning by building meaningful connections. Through play and everyday interactions, we encourage communication, confidence, and skills that support childrenat home, in school, and in social settings.
Xian Hui’s journey as a paediatric speech therapist began with a simple belief: children connect with you when they feel understood, respected, and genuinely interested in what they are learning.
She is a registered speech therapist with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) in Singapore, holding a Master of Science (Speech and Language Pathology) from the National University of Singapore, as well as a Bachelor’s degree (Honours) in Arts and Social Sciences with a major in Psychology and a Specialist Diploma in Educational Therapy. Xian Hui has been invited to serve as a lecturer, clinical supervisor, and examiner for students in the Master of Science (Speech and Language Pathology) programme at NUS. With more than a decade of experience, Xian Hui has supported children from infancy through adolescence, working with a wide range of communication and learning needs including Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), Dyslexia, Cerebral Palsy, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Over the years, Xian Hui noticed that some of the most meaningful breakthroughs often happened when therapy is built around the child’s interests and when families are actively involved in the learning journey. These moments of joy and motivation shaped her approach to therapy today.
Beyond clinical practice, Xian Hui is committed to empowering families and growing the profession. As a mother herself, she understands how precious everyday moments of connection can be amidst busy family schedules, and works closely with caregivers to help therapy strategies carry over into meaningful daily routines. She is certified in parent-training programmes and has delivered lectures and webinars to educators, therapists, and parents.
At the heart of Xian Hui’s work is a belief that every child is more than a diagnosis. By honouring each child’s interests, strengths, and individuality, she aims to create therapy experiences where communication grows naturally — in ways that feel meaningful, empowering, and joyful.
Tammy is a paediatric speech therapist who was drawn to the profession through her passion for working with children and her keen interest in how early language develops.
Tammy is a registered speech therapist with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) in Singapore, who holds a Master of Speech Pathology from Curtin University, Australia, and a Bachelor’s degree (Honours) in Arts and Social Sciences with a major in Psychology. Since graduating from her Master’s programme in 2017, Tammy has worked in private clinics, social service agencies, special needs schools, MOE specialised schools, as well as provided home-based therapy, giving her a well-rounded understanding of children’s needs across various settings. She supports individuals aged 2 to 17 years with a wide range of speech, language, and communication needs. Her expertise lies in supporting children with difficulties in speech clarity, language development, social communication, and early literacy, and she has a particular interest in working with late talkers. Tammy also has extensive experience supporting children with dyslexia, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Global Developmental Delay (GDD), and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
In addition to conducting assessments and evidence-based interventions, Tammy has led workshops and seminars for parents and educators. She has also served as a Clinical Educator for the Bachelor of Science in Speech and Language Therapy programme at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT).
As Tammy believes that children learn best when they feel safe and seen, she takes time to get to know each child as a whole person, looking beyond their diagnoses and challenges to appreciate their strengths, needs and learning style. As a mother of two, Tammy combines professional expertise and a parent’s perspective in her work, approaching each child and family with warmth, empathy and curiosity. Recognising that seeking support can feel overwhelming for families, Tammy works closely with parents to understand their unique circumstances and to provide practical strategies. Her focus is not only on progress within therapy sessions, but on building confidence and skills that carry into everyday life.
